As a professional transport provider, we adhere to the regulations set by the Department of Environment (DOENI) for road transport, just like all bus and coach companies. Please review our terms and conditions below:

  • Age Restrictions: There are no specific age restrictions on our buses, but passengers under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Facilities: Some of our buses are equipped with toilets, but we cannot guarantee this facility on all routes.

  • Behaviour: While we understand that some passengers may be under the influence of alcohol, we do not tolerate aggressive or abusive behaviour. We prioritize the comfort and safety of all passengers and our drivers.
  • Alcohol Policy: As per DOENI regulations, alcohol consumption is not allowed on any of our vehicles. However, passengers may store alcohol in their luggage, but it cannot be consumed on board.
  • Booking and Scheduling: All travel dates and times are listed on our website. These times are strict and non-changeable unless specified by Compare A Bus.
  • Booking in Advance: Travel is subject to pre-booking. You must book your travel online or via phone ahead of time. Turning up on the day of travel without a pre-booked ticket does not guarantee a seat.
  • Route Cancellations: If there are insufficient numbers for a route, Compare A Bus reserves the right to cancel or alter services with prior notice where possible.
  • Privacy: Compare A Bus is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information you provide to improve our services. For more details, please see our privacy policy.
  • Return Travel: All fares are for return journeys to the same drop-off point. Bookings are non-refundable, though you can purchase travel insurance with your tickets.
  • Online Booking Only: Tickets must be purchased online. They are not available from the driver. Once you book, you will receive an email confirmation, which acts as your e-ticket for your journey. Please ensure you check your emails for any changes to your travel.
  • Non-Refundable: All bookings are non-refundable. Once booked, travel details cannot be altered. Cancellation insurance is available for purchase.
  • Booking Reference: You must quote your booking reference when boarding the bus.
  • Correct Coach: It is your responsibility to board the correct coach at any stop, including the return journey.
  • Traveling Together: To travel together, you must book the same pickup point. We cannot guarantee you will be on the same bus if you book different pick-up locations.
  • Service Availability: Travel is not allowed on any other services or dates except for the one you booked. Please book early as services are subject to availability.
  • No Smoking or Alcohol: Compare A Bus operates a strict no smoking and no alcohol policy on all its vehicles, in line with DOE law in Northern Ireland.
  • Arrival Time: Passengers must return to the coach no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The driver will not notify passengers of this time.
  • General Conditions: All normal conditions of carriage apply.
